Galesburg’s Last Stand: A New Kind of Fear

The Forgottonia Times™ Report

This October, Galesburg is getting a new dose of thrills and chills with the Last Stand Haunted Attraction, located at 1855 E. Knox St. Running throughout the month of October, this seasonal experience promises “a new kind of fear” while also delivering family-friendly fun.

The heart of the attraction is its haunted dungeon, an eerie space designed to send shivers down the spine of visitors. For those who prefer more action, the Zombie Shooter Game offers an interactive way to test your aim against the walking dead. Families will also find a Trick-or-Treat Path, giving younger guests the chance to gather candy in a safe and spirited environment.

But the fun doesn’t end there. Vendors will line the grounds from 6:30p.m. to 11:00p.m. every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday throughout October, extending through November 2. Guests can browse a variety of goods and treats while taking in the Halloween atmosphere. Adding to the energy, roller skating is part of the experience, ensuring that the attraction isn’t just about scares, but community fun as well.

The season culminates on October 31 with Monster Bash: A Night of Fright, a Halloween celebration designed to send the month out in style. Between the haunted thrills, vendors, and festive activities, the event has something for everyone.

Whether you’re a horror enthusiast seeking a good scare, a family looking for a fun night out, or someone simply eager to celebrate the season, the Last Stand Haunted Attraction is ready to welcome you. As the event’s tagline suggests, “Galesburg just got a whole lot funner.”
