Josiah Chatterton

Editor

Josiah Chatterton was born and raised in the Spoon River bottom outside of Ellisville, where he was homeschooled until he attended Bushnell Public High School. After graduating from there, he attended Spoon River Community College, where he studied Agriculture Business, then transferred to Western Illinois University for Music Education. Josiah currently lives in Bushnell with his wife, Hannah, and their puppy. In his free time, Josiah is a fervent reader, enjoys working on his truck, and loves hiking and camping. 

Hannah Chatterton

Senior Journalist

Hannah Chatterton was born and raised in Dixon, Illinois, until attending Knox College in Galesburg, where she self-designed a Middle Eastern Archaeology focus of study and always maintained a love for writing. In her junior year, she met Fulton County native Josiah through a mutual friend. After graduation, Hannah moved to Bushnell and worked at a bank in Macomb. She and Josiah are now married, and she works full-time for Forgottonia Times™. Hannah loves camping, hiking, playing with her puppy, riding her bike, reading, and spending time with friends and family.

Emma Rauschert

Journalist

Emma Rauschert is a native of Forgottonia from Smithfield, IL. She was homeschooled growing up and spent most of her early years roaming the woods outside, where she developed a deep appreciation and respect for nature. As an adult, she loves all things conservation. Emma currently resides outside of Avon, IL, with her husband Matthew. She is a beekeeper, volunteer first responder, University of Illinois Extension Master Gardener intern, University of Illinois Extension Master Naturalist intern, and an avid reader. Emma loves animals, hiking, camping, cooking from scratch, pressing flowers, landscaping, volunteering, traveling, and gardening.
