Congratulations to Fulton County 4-H Scholarship Recipients!

Fulton County 4-H proudly awarded $6,600 in scholarships this May to eight outstanding graduating members for their leadership, community service, and 4-H achievements. Below is a brief description of each recipients’ achievements, though much more could be said about their dedication and hard work over the years.
Lily Anderson of Farmington Lucky Clovers earned the Merle L. Jenkins Agricultural Scholarship and SEFF (Support Extension and 4-H Fund) funds. A dedicated leader, Lily taught younger members pig handling and barn care, preparing for her future in Agriculture Education at Eastern Oklahoma State College.
Kaylee Grebner, Big 10 4-H Club, received the Virginia Barnard Memorial Scholarship and SEFF funds. Passionate about horses and her cupcake decorating business, “Kaylee’s Country Cupcakes,” Kaylee aims to become an elementary teacher while continuing her cupcake business.
Caleb Hartstirn of Fairview Huskies was awarded the Gary Eathington Memorial Scholarship and SEFF funds. Active in a myriad of community service projects and livestock care, Caleb will study Ag Business Management at Spoon River College.
Mallory Kotewa, Busy Bees 4-H Club, received the Hilda Rock Memorial Scholarship. She is an eight-year member, having been honored as an Achievement Member for seven of those years, and is a frequent show volunteer. Mallory will pursue a degree in Music Education at Luther College.
Kelsey Patterson, also of Farmington Lucky Clovers, was honored with the Hilda Rock Memorial Scholarship, Roberta Mahr Memorial Scholarship, and SEFF funds for her extraordinary leadership. Kelsey plans to major in Agricultural Communications at Oklahoma State University after livestock judging at Eastern Oklahoma State College.
Aubrianna Putman (not pictured) of the Canton Luckettes received a 4-H Federation Scholarship and SEFF funds. She both raised rabbits and mentored peers in rabbit care and plans to study Biology at Illinois State University to become a physician.
Morgan Tracey, of the Avondale and Fulton County Shooting Sports Clubs graduated from Abingdon-Avon High School, earning the Phillips Scholarship and SEFF funds. A beekeeping and shooting sports mentor, Morgan will pursue Nursing at Illinois College.
Kinslee Wickert, of the Jolly Workers Club, was awarded a Hilda Rock Memorial Scholarship. An active volunteer and Crew Leader for Farm Safety Day and Clover Clinic, Kinslee will study Veterinary Technology at either Parkland or Blackhawk College.
Fulton County 4-H extends heartfelt thanks to the generous donors supporting these scholarships.
