Family-fun and Ag Education at the Ag Day Festival
The Forgottonia Times™ Report
It’s the season for festivals in Forgottonia. So mark your calendars and gather your crew for this fun, tiny-town, farm themed day that is perfect for the entire family. In the upper east corner of Knox county sits a village called Williamsfield, where Ag Day is a big deal! The Ag Day Festival is a perfect event for anyone at any age–whether you’re young or young at heart–and it provides a fun, learning-focused, hands-on set of experiences for all to enjoy.
This year’s Ag Day Festival will include a free breakfast, an outdoor community worship service, a tractor drive, a kiddie pedal pull, a petting zoo, live demos and talks, and so much more! With over 20 different fun activities for kids and adults alike, such as Farm obstacles courses, photo and pie contests, corn mazes, and ag education plot tours, the Ag Day Festival has something for everyone. Breakfast begins at 8 am on September 7th, community worship service starts at 9:30am, and the farm fun activities begin at 10:30am with the tractor drive and last all day! There will also be food available for sale on site.
Come enjoy this farm-focused festival in Williamfield at Doubet-Benjamin park, and get a taste of agricultural learning mixed with family-friendly amusement all day long at the Ag Day Festival.
