Oktoberfest Fundraiser

By - Jaime Webb

Macomb Food Co-op Foundation is excited to announce that a celebration of both local food and German culture is coming to Macomb in the form of Oktoberfest on Saturday, October 11th from 12-4pm! This fall festival not only provides fun for the whole family but is a fundraiser to support the purchase of the Macomb Food Co-op building, with all donations being tax deductible.

The Macomb Food Co-op Foundation was established in 2025 in partnership to support the Macomb Food Co-op, a friendly neighborhood grocery store. MFCF works as a community liaison, allowing community members like you to support the Food Co-op in new ways.

You can show your dedication to local food and entrepreneurs by attending Oktoberfest this fall! There will be live music, freshly grilled hot dogs/brats, other lunch foods, and local brews from The Ice House and The Ritz for sale. Enjoy a host of free activities to compete in: corn hole, corn husking, stein holding, and nail driving. There will also be creative activities such as face painting and ginger bread cookie decorating.

There is a $20 cover charge and children ages 12 and under may enter for free. The Macomb Food Co-op will also be open for exploring or shopping!

We are excited to offer this community event and hope you are able to celebrate local foods and German culture with us!
