Macomb’s Maple Avenue Church to Host Imperishable Women’s Conference

The Forgottonia Times™ Report

In a season when many women find themselves stretched thin by work, family obligations and the persistent pressure to meet competing expectations, Maple Avenue Christian Church in Macomb is offering a space for pause, reflection and renewal.

The church will host the Imperishable Women’s Conference on March 6th and 7th, an event designed to bring together women of all generations for worship, encouragement and shared reflection on faith and identity. Held at Maple Avenue Christian Church, located at 1300 Maple Avenue in Macomb, the conference centers on a theme drawn from John 10:10, “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”

The name “Imperishable” reflects the conference’s core message– that true identity is rooted not in external standards or societal demands, but in a faith that endures. That living life should not be marked by exhaustion, but by purpose, peace and fullness. Organizers welcome “women of all generations to press pause, worship together, and be reminded that our true identity is rooted in Jesus, not in the world’s expectations.”

Over the course of two days, attendees will worship together and engage with messages intended to encourage steadfastness and spiritual grounding. The conference is open to women of all ages and backgrounds, emphasizing community and shared experience.

Registration for the event is currently open and will remain available through February 18. The cost to attend is $20 per person.

A promotional video released ahead of the event offers a glimpse into the heart of the gathering, highlighting themes of unity, resilience and faith in a changing world. The video reinforces the conference’s guiding idea: while circumstances shift, what is formed through faith can remain unshaken.

As March approaches, organizers hope the Imperishable Women’s Conference will serve as both a moment of rest and a source of renewed strength with the invitation to “encourage each other to stand firm on a foundation that won’t spoil or fade.”
