By - Jaime Webb, Prairie Hills Resource Conservation and Development, Inc.
The Prairie Hills Land Bank Authority would like to invite the general public to an informational meeting regarding the environmental clean up of the former Haeger Pottery property, 411 W Calhoun St, Macomb. Join us on Jan 12th at 6:30pm at the Spoon River Campus Outreach Center.
Prairie Hills Land Bank Authority will begin the meeting with program updates. Following will be a Public Comment and Question session. Individuals wishing to speak will have the opportunity to submit their name prior to the start of the meeting. Those individuals will be able to speak for 3 minutes. After the public comment period is over, there will be the opportunity for community members to also submit written feedback.
“We want community members to feel involved in the clean up process. This is an opportunity for them to provide input on what improvements they’d like to see happen in their neighborhood,” says Dr. Victoria Livingston.
