Buchanan Center for the Arts Announces its Last Show of the Year

The Buchanan Center for the Arts announces the opening of its Security Savings Bank 44th Annual Amateur Photography Show. It will be available for viewing from November 7 through December 5 with an Opening Reception on Friday, November 14, 2025, from 5-7 pm. This is an annual exhibition at the Pattee Gallery at 64 Public Square in Monmouth, Illinois. The award categories include Agricultural and Farm Life, Animals and Creatures, Capturing Light and Shadow, Faces, The Four Seasons, the Peggy Kulczewski Memorial Floral Award, and Wheels.

The juror for this year’s exhibit is Kent Kriegshauser, a professional photographer who specializes in commercial/editorial, events, sports and portraiture photography. Not only will he be this year’s juror, but he will also discuss the exhibition at the monthly Old Friends Talk Art gathering on November 12, 10 a.m. in the Pattee Gallery at the Buchanan Center for the Arts. The Photography Show is sponsored by Security Savings Bank.
