The Village of Dunfermline will host its long-standing summer tradition, the 57th Annual Chicken and Fish Fry, on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at the Dunfermline Town Hall. Organizers have devoted months of preparation to ensure the event delivers both freshly cooked fare and a festive atmosphere for all attendees.
The day begins with the Annual Russell “Pops” Breese Memorial Ride, a 100-plus mile motorcycle run along a locally curated route. Registration is open from 11 am to 1 pm at the Town Hall, with a participation fee of $10 per rider. Riders are expected to return and check in by 6 pm, coinciding with the evening’s peak festivities.
From 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm, visitors can enjoy hot, freshly cooked chicken and fish dinners served with traditional sides of potato salad and baked beans for $15. Air-conditioned indoor seating will be available, along with an assortment of scrumptious homemade desserts which will be sold separately. Grilled options including hamburgers and hot dogs will also be offered. Beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, will be sold; outside drinks are not permitted.
Live music will play throughout the afternoon and evening under the pavilion. Local group Rolling Pineapple Revival opens the entertainment lineup at 2 pm, followed by another local band, Sista with The Mistas at 4 pm. The headline act, Monster Lane, takes the stage at 6 pm and will perform until the festivities conclude at 9 pm.
The Village invites the public to join in the celebration for a lively day of food, music, and community fellowship.
